The Sightsinger Plan provides members with access to the sightsinging course including all instructional videos for levels beginning-advanced, practice audio, articles relating to sightsinging, vocal tips, sightsinger forum and member profiles.
Working Singer Pro Plan:
The Working Singer Pro Plan grants member access to all of the website options for sightsingers along with the added benefit of monthly interviews, vocal exercises, name that tune, weekly dictation exercise, and specific singer job listings in the local Hollywood area.
As a special bonus, we've teamed up with Smartmusic Interactive which has Music1on1 listed as one of the verified schools. Although Smartmusic is a totally separate site that anyone can access, LAsightsinger has set up an account where you the student will have your own account linked to Music1on1.
Since Smartmusic is mainly an instrumental practice sight, there are not many sight reading exercises made for vocalists, only karaoke style sing along for vocal pieces. However, Gerald has developed individual sight reading exercises set up specifically for each voice part that can be utilized for sight reading practice. If you are a premier member you will have access to these individual sightsinging exercises, not available with Smartmusic alone, which will be posted by level for you to practice your vocal sightreading skills. Smartmusic has the ability to detect your accuracy with either your built in microphone or an external microphone. You will have direct access with Music1on1 regarding questions and/or critiques of your progress with Smartmusic.
There will be a video tutorial on how to set up your account and a walk through to get you aquainted with the process of singing assessment.
